Cinnamon Cider Rum Sauce

1/2c. dark rum

1-1/2 T. cornstarch

1-1/4c. Cinnamon Cider Syrup

nutmeg to taste

salt to taste

2T. butter

Whisk all the ingredients except butter in saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Add butter. Boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Serve warm over apple pie, ice cream or French toast.
